Easy Apple Cake

This cake is delicious!  You’ll never guess it’s from a mix.  We like to eat it for breakfast around here.  I will post a picture soon, I promise– the cake was devoured too quickly for me to get a picture this time!

Easy Apple Cake

  • 1 Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1 TBSP Cinnamon
  • Dash of Nutmeg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2-3 Granny Smith Apples, finely diced (I use 3, but you could get away with 2)

Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Mix in cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla.  Fold in apples.  Pour into your choice of pans- a tube or bundt pan would be prettiest,  but I usually make this in a 9×13 or even two 8×8 pans if I’m taking one to a family for dinner or something.

Bake at 350 for as long as the box directs for your size pan. A toothpick inserted near the center should come out completely clean.
