Blueberry Breakfast Bake

We were in desperate need of some breakfast ideas around here!  The same ol’ cereal and yogurt or toast was really getting to me and I wanted my family to be getting a better start to their day.  Thus, this yummy dish came on the scene and best of all, you make it the night before!  Just pop it in the oven the next morning.

 

Blueberry Breakfast Bake

  • 6 cups granola
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (less if the granola is already sweet)
  • 3 cups frozen blueberries (I’m also anxious to try this with peaches or strawberries)

Mix granola, milk, and brown sugar in a greased 9×13.  Gently stir in the blueberries. Cover and refrigerate overnight.  The next morning, put the covered dish in the oven while it preheats to 350. Bake for 25 minutes and then uncover and bake 10 minutes more.  We pour milk over our individual servings and it gets gobbled right up!  My 2 year old wanted thirds!!
